Taco pie

A hot and tasty taco pie with minced meat and cheese. Serve with cooling sour cream, crispy taco chips, and green salad.

Ingredients: 6 portions

Butter 150 g

Flour 3 dl

Paprika powder 1 tsp

Water 2 tablespoons

Filling:

Beef 500 g

Butter 1 tablespoon

Taco spice mix of about 28 g

Water 1 dl

light crème fraiche paprika & chili 2 dl

light crème fraiche 2 dl

Cherry tomatoes 150 g

Green jalapeño or yellow chili 1 dl

grated cheese  1½ dl

Paprika powder 1 tsp

For serving:

sour cream 3 dl

Do this

Chop butter, flour, and paprika powder into a granular mass, by hand or in a food processor. Add water and work quickly together to a smooth dough.

Press the dough into a pie tin or ovenproof dish, about 30 cm in diameter. Chop the dough with a fork and place the form in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Set the oven to 225 °.

Pre-bake the pie crust in the middle of the oven for about 12 minutes.

Brown the minced meat in butter. Add taco seasoning and water, cook for about 5 minutes.

Mix flavored crème fraiche with natural crème fraiche in a bowl. Halve the tomatoes and let the chili pieces drain.

Fill the pie crust with minced meat and spread it on the crème Fraiche mixture. Cover with tomato halves and chili, sprinkle with cheese, and finally dust with paprika powder.

Bake the pie in the middle of the oven for about 25 minutes, until the cheese has a nice color. Serve with sour cream and taco chips.
