Once upon a time these celebrities live the life of glamour and fame as they walked on red carpets. Then in a flash, the sounds of adorned fans and job opportunities turned into the chirps of crickets. Unfortunately, they seem to misplace the memo that their 15 minutes were up.
Here are ten people who need to realize that they are not famous anymore.
1. Paris Hilton
Paris, Heir to the Hilton Hotel chain, was known to make a few tabloid features here and there is a privileged party girl in the early 2000s, but her true claim to fame was the sex tape with her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon that spread like wildfire across the internet. While riding this wave of celebrity she starred in the reality TV show with bestie Nicole Richie and even released an album. As her friendship with Richie and music reputation began to decay, so did her popularity. She now spends her time trying to make headlines as a DJ and claiming she’s the reason for Kim Kardashian’s fame.
2. P Daddy
P Diddy known for his extravagant music videos and record productions in the late ’90s and early 2000s, Sean John Combs, also known by a number of stage names, seems to not be aware that his fan base isn’t what it used to be. While his clothing line is doing well, his music career is another story. He’s failed attempts at reality shows, forming bands, and even acting. P Diddy has tried to keep his name and mixed by short appearances and music videos along with the occasional sentence on an album he’s produced, but it’s fell on the ears of an audience that has stopped caring. Instead of being the focus of music videos, it’s not the center of the newsreel for allegedly hiring someone to kill Tupac.
3. Nick Carter
In the late 90s, Nick Carter was plastered on the walls of teenage girls everywhere. As the blonde, sensitive heartthrob of the boyband sensation the Backstreet Boys. But Nick soon found out that after the band’s breakup that he wasn’t as famous without his boys to back him up. Young girls didn’t come screaming when he released a solo album in the early 2000s or started a reality TV show with his younger brother. A battle with substance abuse left him out of the public eye for quite some time, and just last year he released another solo album to try to ignite a comeback.
4. Chantal Jeffries
Chantal Jeffries, it’s not hard to see why Justin Bieber wanted to spend his time with this beautiful mod and actress. However, some may feel she used the famous bad boy for her own gain. She was reported to be shopping around networks for the rights to her dating dirt with the Biebs all the while making headlines standing by his side during his legal struggles. She now spends her time on red carpets of movie premieres and award shows, but we aren’t quite sure why as she hasn’t contributed anything to deem her a celeb. These days she can be spotted in tabloids and Instagram candidates partying with Kylie Jenner.
5. Courtney Stodden
Courtney Stodden may be in the running to be the poster girl for becoming famous for all the wrong
reasons. As a 16-year-old, she made headlines when she married 50 years old, Doug Hutchison. Since then she has been trying to leverage her marital infamy and her appearances on reality TV to sell her music. She has even recently tried to poke her way into the public eye by announcing that she’s pregnant with sexy photos of her baby bump in a bikini. We can only imagine what we’re going to see when this mother-to-be goes up in bra sizes.
6. Mike Sorrentino
Mike Sorrentino, nicknamed “the situation” became known for his cocky demeanor. Chiseled abs and seamless tan on MTV’s reality show “The Jersey Shore”. Being paid to the party, he was living every young adult’s dream. After the show stopped airing he attempted to keep his small-screen fame alive by appearing in ads for protein shakes and clothing lines but his stardom was left fist-pumping alone on the dance floor. He has tried to fight his way back into the spotlight as a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars”, but he’s now making headlines for tax evasion. Needless to say, there was a situation, but there’s not any more
7. Kristin Cavallari
Another MTV reality star, Kristin Cavallari just doesn’t know when to throw in the towel. She thought she had the public’s attention when she went from Laguna Beach villain to earning a few small roles in films, but she wasn’t as much of a standout as her reality show counterparts. She regains some social recognition with her relationship to football star and hubby Jay Cutler but not enough to have Hollywood calling. She should just accept her role as a supportive cheerleader.
8. Farrah Abraham
Farrah Abraham not only is this former Teen Mom star living in denial that she isn’t famous, but she may also even be delusional. In a recent interview, she claimed that has it clipped Kim Kardashian celeb status. Yes, they both had TV reality notoriety and sex tapes play their way across the internet but we don’t see. Farrah racking in the dough or getting brand deals like Kim K. However one thing she is good at is stirring up drama and controversy especially with her latest business venture. Farrah’s friends live an adult site has gotten attention, but unfortunately, it’s the wrong kind critics are more concerned for her daughter Sophia than trying to sneak a peek at the ferry’s goods.
Micheal Ray Stevenso, known professionally by his stage name Tyga.
Chantal isn’t the only one discernibly using kylie Jenner to help their social status. Rapper and ex-boyfriend Tyga had a relationship with Kylie as a minor, while the beautiful reality star is legal now it still made others feel a little uneasy, this may have been reflected in the low sells of his album “The 18th dynasty”, or maybe it was just that bad. Good thing Kyliepumped the brakes to prevent a scene fit for any melodrama. Tyga has a child with Blac Chyna, who’s now engaged to Rob Kardashian Kylie’s top brother. Rob and Chyna are expecting, and if Tyga were to marry Kylie the children would have been cousins and siblings. The tabloids would have had a field day.
10. Shia LaBeouf
In his early years, Shia achieved what most actors would die for the transition from child actor to blockbuster film star. Starring in films like transformers, Indiana Jones, and fury, gained Shia tons of notoriety from the industry and tons of fans screaming at his red-carpet appearances. One day out of nowhere, he broke. A weird and kooky stunt of wearing a bag that read, ” I’m not famous anymore,” at an award show seems to spend Shia’s reputation down a neglected spiral that he has yet to come back from. His ” motivational speech ” seemed to gain a lot of attention, but most fans didn’t know if he had seriously lost it or if this was just performance art experiments. Either way, we hope to remove his name from this list if he ever decides to return to the box office.
